Resident Teachers at Swami Dayananda Ashram

Swami Dayananda ashram has many teachers of Vedanta and Sanskrit who have undergone in-depth study of Vedanta, Sanskrit and Yoga and who are available for teaching in the ashram and online.

Swami Parabrahmananda Saraswati

Swamiji studied at Kailash Ashram under Maha Mandaleshwar Swami Vidyanand Giri ji and moved to Kashi where he studied Sanskrit (Ashtadhyayi of Panini) and Vedanta along with darshanas from Mandaleshwar Swami Divyanand ji (Divya Chaitanya) of Sadhana Sadan and also, Pandit Parshvanatha Dvivedi and Pandit Ramayatna Shuklaji around six years. Later, he moved back to Haridwar with Pujya Sri Swamiji‘s request to take care of ashram of Swami Taranand ji. Post 8years of his stay at Haridwar, Swamiji was called at Swami Dayananda Ashram, Rishikesh to take care of the ashram library.

Swamiji has been teaching Sanskrit to long term students. He has taught Laghu Sidhdhant Kaumudi, Panini Sutras to multiple batches short-term and long-term course students. Currently, he is also conducting Vedanta classes online to help students improve on Sanskrit language and understanding on various Vedanta topics.

Sri Swamini Svatmavidyananda Saraswati

Swamini Svatmavidyananda is a disciple of Pujya Sri Swami Dayanandaji. She completed her 3 year course with Pujya Sri Swamiji in 2005. Since then Swaminiji has taught Vedanta for a number of years in the United Sates at Arsha Vidya Gurukulam, Saylorsburg, and at Arsha Vijnana Gurukulam (www.arshavg.org), a center inaugurated by Pujya Sri Swamiji in 2006, that has a presence in Atlanta, GA, Eugene, OR, and in the California Bay Area. Swaminiji is active in the interfaith movement, featuring in prominent international dialogues on religious diversity and mutual respect among various religious traditions.

Swaminiji currently serves as Resident Acharya at the Swami Dayananda Ashram, teaching in the short and long term courses. She is the author of several books, such as The Alphabet Garland of 108 Names of Pujya Sri Swamiji, Freedom from Self-Sabotage, Samvada, A Book of Questions and Answers, and Guided Meditation.
