Course Overview
Arsha Vidya Pitham, Swami Dayananda Ashram, Rishikesh is soliciting applicants for the next three months course in Vedanta and Sanskrit (Jan 25th to April 18th 2027). Please note that this course is only open to people who have either dedicated their lives to seva at ashrams or reputed non-profit organizations (NGOs) or are currently doing seva, or have a deep desire to dedicate their life to seva. Individuals and couples below the age of 65, enjoying good health, fluent in the English language can apply by filling out the google form link at the bottom of this page. Selected individuals will be admitted to the course free of charge and will also be offered future seva opportunities with AIM for Seva (aimforseva.org) and other NGOs under the auspices of the ashram.
The course syllabus includes Taittriya Upanisad with Shankar Bhashya and Vedic & Stotra chanting along with the various levels of Sanskrit. Additionally, Meditation, Vedic chanting, Satsang (Bhajan & Question- Answers)
The accommodation is strictly on a twin-sharing basis. Participants are expected to pay a nonrefundable registration fees of Rs 15000per course. Participants will have to abide by the rules and regulations of the ashram at all times. Please look at the rules (Rules & Regulation) thoroughly and indicate your acceptance. The Ashram reserves the right to ask any student to leave the course at any time without giving a reason, if in the perception of the ashram, the continuation of the student is not conducive for smooth conduct of the course.
