Sri Dakshinamurthy Shrine

Sri Medha Dakshinamurthy shrine at Lord Gangadhareshwar Temple is a unique addition in the year 2025, symbolizing the eternal guru parampara and in keeping with the commitment of the Ashram to impart the vision of Vedanta. With this addition of  Adi Guru (the first teacher), the temple completes itself in its set up.

The shrine owes its origin to the sankalpa of Swami Sivaswarupananda Saraswati, who wanted to see regular pujas for Lord Dakshinamurthy taking place in the ashram.
